1. Be the answer to the maiden’s prayer (as Veronica plants up the new viewing ramp one wet spring day) and, if you love gardening, come and help the railway’s gardens look even better.

2. The Tenterden Station garden gives a lovely backdrop to the Norwegian as it climbs the bank into the station.

3. Yes its raining, but our Gardening Chief needs to water the plants in the shade of the office trees.

4. There’s been a lot of soil shifting needed recently in the wake of the track works at Tenterden and Alan moves another barrow load.

5. The new information board is up and the new plants watered – Time for a coffee I think!

6. The team are back at Northiam and Ron gets down to some serious weeding – AGAIN! Yes, the weeds seem to prosper even when everything else is wilting through lack of rain.

7. Last year’s work on improving the Northiam vegetable garden have paid off, and everything in the garden is blooming – (especially the beans on the day I type this.)

8. Looking more like PG Tips leaf pickers, our gardeners prove that gardening and lovely sunny weather do happen even on the KESR! More orange squash Carol and Veronica?

There’s lots more to do so every hand helps.
