News - K&ESR Welcomes The Lord Warden

Tenterden and the Kent & East Sussex Railway played host to the newly installed Lord Warden of The Cinque Ports on Saturday 16th April 2005. Admiral The Lord Boyce of Pimlico was greeted at Tenterden Town Hall by the Mayor, Michael Hickmott who gave a tour of the town before arriving at the railway for a reception aboard the luxurious Pullman train. Michael Hickmott is the Chief Station Master at the K&ESR and so was keen to introduce The Lord Warden to the delights of steam.
