What can you enjoy Monday - Friday at Tenterden Town Station 10:00am - 5:00pm?

A 21-mile round trip aboard a steam or diesel train to Bodiam and back - approx time 1hr 45 minutes
Steam trains leave Tenterden Station at 10:40, 1:15 & 3:30
Diesel trains leave Tenterden Station at 11:45 & 2:20

Admission to the Halloween Activities is by train ticket (normal fares apply)

Wendy the Witch presents her illustrated theatre show several times daily featuring a range of reptiles and creatures of the night. An interactive show, children can join in if they dare!
Get up close and personal with a snake, an owl, a bat, a lizard
and others in our heated marquee theatre.

We offer a pumpkin carving workshop for a small extra cost but each child can take home a personally created pumpkin lantern in time to display on the 31st. We even supply the candle! The old favourite 'What's in the Gunge' will delight young and old and a range of themed craft ideas should keep your children occupied for a few hours.

There's no need to book tickets, just come along on the day of your choice come rain or shine as everything is under cover and our trains have heating too.

FRIGHT NIGHT TRAINS Friday 31st October NOW FULLY BOOKED & Saturday 1st Nov-a few seats remain and can now only be purchased in person from Tenterden Station.
A Fright Night train is an evening steam train ride leaving Tenterden Town Station at 6:00pm, travelling to Northiam and return with an onboard magic show, party food boxes with a Halloween gift for every child and a firework display midway. Tickets cost £14 each for all over 18 months.

If you book seats on a Fright Night train you can arrive from 4:00pm and enjoy the activities detailed above plus we'll have two face painters to add any finishing touches you might need. Fancy dress is encouraged and as is shown in the images at the top of the page adds to the enjoyment for adults and children alike - the scarier, the better!
