Robin Doust

It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Robin Doust, Vice President of the Kent & East Sussex Railway, died in Bulawayo Hospital, Zimbabwe on 12th March 2008. In the circumstances few other details are presently known, but it is understood that he was gravely ill.

Robin was a key figure in the preservation of the K&ESR and without doubt one of the most significant individuals in the history of the Railway. It is intended to publish a full tribute to him in the summer issue of the Tenterden Terrier.
